THE LAND

Uruguay is pure breath, a place in the world that does not have the presumption of representing something, but leaves you free and offers you all the space your life needs It's a still life of simplicity and elegance, it's like walking through a painting where everything is still to give you the chance to be there. Nature governs this environment, preserving its purity and strength.
The absolute sense of space generates suspension and revitalizes the free and creative spirit of those who truly want to let go and be embraced by this unique place.

Coming from Montevideo, about 9 km before arriving at Cabo Polonio, you will find Oceania del Polonio. This paradise on the coast of Uruguay, accessed by a narrow gravel road surrounded by green Acacias, is located in the department of Rocha, at kilometer 256 of route 10.  Kilometers of untouched beaches with white sand invite bathing among the waves, horse riding by the sea, fishing, surfing, kite or windsurfing and other sports.

It is the antithesis of the holiday of doing, that of who chooses Uruguay. It is the holiday of being.
Three million inhabitants (19 inhabitants per square kilometre, of which almost half in Montevideo, against Italy's 200), in company of twelve million cows, Uruguay invites travellers to breathe, relax and meditate. But it is in particular the magical stretch of coast from Josè Ignatius arrives at Cape Polonius, lapped by the Ocean, which manages to discourage even the most insidious ones temptations to action. One hundred and thirteen kilometers of nothing. A paradise silent that is only distant an hour from the worldly Punta del Este
